Milton
and Sophie moved to Presbyterian Village North in May of 1999. Here's a picture
of us visiting them in their new home!
Ron, Shallen and Trina celebrated Thanksgiving day 1989 with their grandparents, Milton and Sophie Gordon. Here are some pictures from the wonderful turkey dinner that Shallen worked so hard to prepare!
Shallen prepared a great meal for the entire family and grandparents! Here she
is next to one of our favorite Christmas toys that we received a few years ago from Dan
and Rita! Its still working! The hot air from the candles turns the blades at the top,
which in turn, causes the nativity scenes within the tower to rotate.
Shallen prepared several of the family's favorite dishes during the days preceding
Thanksgiving, so that things would be less hectic on the celebration day! And, for
the most part, it worked! Yes, things were very busy, and the meal wasn't served
until 3pm, but a great time was enjoyed by everyone!
Ron enjoyed the day! He prepared the final countdown schedule so that everything
would be on the table at the same time: 3pm.
Trina is already on her second helping! And afterwards, she played tennis against
Dad, and won 6-1. Much better than that morning's match, when Dad won 6-0.
Guess he ate too much turkey!
Grandpa enjoyed the day, eating his way through Thanksgiving!
Grandma brought the wine, a Georges Dubceuf Beaujolais Nouveau.
