Web Site Tricks

Are you preparing a Web site? Wondering what to do or what technologies to explore? Here's a list of things that you might consider doing if, for example, you were working toward a "Boy Scout" merit badge Web site creation! Indeed, you'll find an example of each of these somewhere within the Gordon Family Web site.

But before we get to the list, what should you consider as a top priority or main goal? Simply put, contribute something new to the Web. Provide some new, useful content, some information that's available no where else. Try using Active Server Pages, VB Script, or a Java application to provide a useful new service. These enrich the Web. Such items should have a high priority as you create your own Web site, and are shown at the top of our list, in bold.
